#QuestionOfTheDay – Day 32 – What Part(s) Of You Want To Be Free?

Hello folks, it’s Jairek Robbins. Today, we’re delving into a subject that is very near and dear to my heart: freedom of expression and the aspects of ourselves we often feel we need to keep hidden away.

Have you ever felt that there is a part of you yearning to break free? Perhaps it’s a hidden talent, an unconventional passion, or a characteristic you’ve been hesitant to reveal. It might be that these parts of you have been in hiding for a long time.

Many of us have parts of ourselves that we keep hidden away. We cage them up for fear of judgment, misunderstanding, or rejection. We might have even convinced ourselves that it’s for the best. But, why did we choose to do that in the first place?

Often, we hide parts of ourselves because they don’t fit the mold society has set for us. We’ve been conditioned to believe that being different isn’t acceptable, that conformity is the path to acceptance. So, we lock away those parts of us that deviate from the norm.

But what if we dared to defy that? What if we decided to set free that part of us we’ve kept hidden? To let it flourish and express itself fully?

The first step is to identify those parts of ourselves that we’ve repressed. It may be a creative flair, an entrepreneurial spirit, a desire to travel, or even an unexpressed emotion. Recognize and acknowledge this part of you that is longing to break free.

The next step is to consider the possibilities. What could happen if you let this part of you flourish? It might lead to new opportunities, a different path in life, or a deeper connection with those around you. Alternatively, it might also lead to some challenges. But isn’t growth always accompanied by challenges? It’s those challenges that shape us, strengthen us, and make us who we are.

I’d like to challenge you to let that hidden part of yourself out for the next 24 hours. You don’t need to shout it from the rooftops. Just give yourself permission to express it. Try it out in a safe and supportive environment. You might be surprised at the feeling of liberation and the positive reactions you get.

In setting ourselves free, we open ourselves up to live a more authentic, meaningful, and joyful life. In expressing our true selves, we inspire others to do the same. And when we’re all living our truths, the world becomes a more vibrant and accepting place.

So, GO FOR IT! Set that side of yourself free for the next 24 hours and see what happens. I am looking forward to hearing all about your experiences in the comments section on the blog!

To your freedom,

Jairek Robbins
